Everything you need to know about joining our volunteer community across Kiambu County.
What is the minimum time commitment?
We value flexibility. Most of our programs require at least 4 hours per week, but project-based opportunities (like tree planting) can be one-off weekend commitments.
Which locations do you operate in?
Our core hubs are located in Cianda, Gatatha, Sasini, and Kawaida. You can choose to serve in the community closest to you or travel with our teams.
Do I need specific qualifications?
Passion for social change is our first requirement. Some specialized roles in Education or Agri-business may require relevant background, but we provide training for all volunteers.
Is training provided?
Yes! All volunteers go through a half-day orientation where we cover BSE's core values, child protection policies, and specific program training.
